Preventative Procedures
Includes a comprehensive evaluation of your mouth by examining and recording your medical history and general health. The dentist will also review and document any dental caries (cavities) you may have, missing or un-erupted teeth, existing restorations, your bite and the condition of your gums. An oral cancer screening is also routinely done in the comprehensive exam.

Teeth Whitening (In Office or Take Home)
In Office: Whitening that is done in the dental office. The process takes about one hour in the dental chair. The dental technician will use a special light and whitening gel on your teeth, whitening them on average of 10 shades.

Take Home Tooth Whitening: Custom trays that are made specifically for your mouth are created in the dental office. Once the trays are made and tried in, they are sent home with the patient with special whitening gel. The whitening gel is squeezed into the trays and the trays are placed over your teeth for 15 minutes or so per day. Some patients sleep with the whitening trays in their mouth. Results vary and are slower than in office whitening but still very effective.
Porcelain Veneers (Lumineers):
Thin porcelain shields that are bonded to the front of your tooth to create a dramatic change in your smile. Lumineers make a natural-looking smile more possible than ever before because they are made as think as a contact lens and are translucent enough to look like your real teeth. There is no drilling or anesthetic to prepare your teeth.
Endodontic Therapy (Root Canals):
When the decay is so deep that it has injured the pulp or nerve of the tooth, a root canal is needed to treat the nerve and save the tooth. The dentist will remove and medicate the nerve of the tooth. The tooth will be brittle and subject to cracking or breaking, so the dentist will place a crown to protect it usually at the next appointment.
Restorative Procedures
Artificial materials are used to restore the function & integrity of missing tooth structures. The structural loss typically results from caries (cavities) or external trauma.
